Kevin Yu, CFA, CFP®, CPA

Kevin is the Founder and Principal of Yunistone with over 20 years of experience in the investment and wealth management industry. He has managed investment portfolios for both high net worth and institutional clients with the largest single client portfolio size being over $100 million. 

In his professional roles, Kevin has worked closely with many Fortune 500 senior executives, business owners and some of the wealthiest families in the world. His investment knowledge, professional integrity and outstanding client service have won him the highest trust and numerous unsolicited praises from his clients. 

Kevin holds three highly recognized credentials in the global investment and financial industry - Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFP Board. He also holds NASD Series 65 and 63 licenses.

Prior to founding Yunistone, Kevin was the lead advisor at Chicago Deloitte investment advisory practice - Deloitte Investment Advisors LLC. Before that, he was with the Chicago PricewaterhouseCoopers Investment Advisory Group. 

Kevin and his wife Li have two lovely children, Michelle and Timothy. Kevin graduated from Governors State University with a M.S. in Accounting and holds a M.A. from Peking University.
